Methods

The FITS Study 2016 was a US study of caregivers with children under 4 years. It assessed the nutrition behaviors of infants and toddlers through dietary surveys. This study reports on those results and implications for the future.

Key Findings

Key Findings: Among other findings, results showed that children consumed enough protein, but not from healthy sources like nuts and legumes. Their protein sources were often high in sodium and saturated fats. Modifications in this area are encouraged.
