What and How to Eat During Cancer
These videos were developed as part of the Eating During Cancer project led by scientists, clinical nutritionists, and chefs from the University of Barcelona. The audiovisual recipes are specifically designed to target common side effects that cancer patients may experience, including:
- Dysphagia (difficulty swallowing)
- Dysgeusia (altered taste)
- Mucositis (swelling and irritation in the mouth and/or gastrointestinal tract)
- Nausea and vomiting
- Loss of appetite
- Constipation
Each recipe highlights the preparation time and symptom targeted.
