Methods

This study reviewed the effects of resveratrol on brain cancer. Resveratrol is an antioxidant found in peanuts, berries, grapes, and red wine.

Key Findings

Key Findings: The review showed that resveratrol can cross the blood-brain barrier to potentially impact the central nervous system. Resveratrol not only helps to protect against brain cancer tumor growth, but can be used in conjunction with common radiation therapy and chemotherapy treatments to increase their effectiveness and reduce side effects.
